Cyber Front Security Control Validation (SCV) enables organizations to test and measure the ability of their security controls to defend against the latest threats. Importantly, it also provides actionable mitigation content and insights to improve their effectiveness - helping address gaps and swiftly improve security outcomes.
Cyber Front SCV helps to answer four key questions:
Is my organization prepared to respond to a potential cyber threat?
Did preventive and detective controls work as anticipated against known cyber threats?
How should my organization address exploits that were neither prevented nor detected?
Does the security operations center (SOC) have the capabilities and processes to respond to detected alerts?
How Cyber Front SCV Works:
- Initial Setup: Cyber Front SCV has a built-in threat library with over 4000 known threats ready for simulation, updated daily. First, you can select from existing threat templates, including Mastercard-curated ones.
- Agent Setup: Based on your selected threats*, you can either set up an agent for simulations or start your tests based on the no-install browser-based agent for select threats.
- Simulation Execution: As the simulations always run between Cyber Front agents and do not affect production systems, you can execute simulations as frequently as you want, schedule ahead, and get notified instantly.
- Output and Analysis: The type of breach and attack scenarios tested, the results of these tests, and the remediation recommendations can be accessed through the Cyber Front dashboard.
